We had the suite on the top floor, with two large rooms and a huge terrace with a nice view over the little square in front of the hotel (and some limited sea view as well). We stayed for two weeks with our 20-month old daughter. We liked the hotel very much, the staff was great, always friendly and helpful, the suite was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was modern and kept very clean, there is definitely some "old world charm" in the furniture and decor in the rooms. The breakfast was OK - perhaps not a lot of choice and variety (same stuff everyday), but I guess this is justified by the size of the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to the main street, close to the sea, the food in the Gusto pizzeria/restaurant just next to the hotel is delicious. Overall a very positive experience.

Staying in La Piazzetta was the best desition we make in our Sicilian holidays. The hotel is an absolute gem in a beautiful town. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and they make you feel at home. The help us to move around the area with a lot of love and suggested us the best restaurants in the area with the sensitivity to understand what we were looking for. We were supposed to go only for 2 nights and we end up staying 5. We couldn’t leave!! Thank you for all the love to the team, see you soon!!!!

Wonderful position due to the beautiful resort, huge apartment of 90 square meters, very clean and tidy, large terrace, fantastic view of the sea and lovely square, solid breakfast with delicious Italian cheeses and salami, very tasty little bruschettas and premium juices. Our little son accidentally broke the old lamp, we felt sorry for the landlady who was obviously grieving for the old piece of furniture, but she didn't rip us off anyway, but we paid a reasonable price, how much the lamp really cost. In general, all hotel employees were very polite and helpful, they really deserved all the praise.

Very good location of the hotel. Close to the sea and a beautiful promenade, restaurants with delicious food everywhere. In front of the hotel there is a fountain and an nice square. A bit noisy until midnight (only in the evening) but after midnight it's quiet and peaceful. I used the largest suite in the hotel on the top floor with a beautiful sea view - large and comfortable (2 rooms). Huge terrace. The rooms have dark curtains that calm down and ensure sleeping comfort. Towel change every day. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast modest but tasty - a choice of savory items (eggs, salami, cheese, bruschetta, mini snacks) and sweet - cakes, croissants. Possibility to order coffee from a real express - not only from a Nescafe machine. Well-functioning internet. Smart TV. There is an elevator in the hotel.

Old but beautiful building, very Italian. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly made every morning and was great to start your day with some freshly made pastries. Amazing location on walking distance of boat tours, restaurants, shops and a beautiful sandy and somewhat private beach.

The position is perfect, the room was comfortable, wifi and a/c worked greatly, breakfast was good and both people I dealt with at Reception were very friendly and helpful! Try Gusto restaurant next door, absolutely fantastic! Not one single issue to report

Really nice hotel in the centre of Castellamare. We booked last minute as we had another hotel which didn't work out. Staff were really helpful. Location is great. Decor of the hotel is a little bit dated but that seems to be true in a lot of Sicily. Room was really comfortable. Overall it's a great option

We stayed here for our last night before flying home from Palermo airport (which was quick and easy to get to in the morning). We were impressed by the spaciousness of the room, complete with balcony, and by the friendliness of the staff. It was easy to find a car parking space nearby. Lots of retaurants and the old centre of the town all very close by.
